The leather on the center console cracked an flaked off after 1 month owning the car. Also the seat back leather in the perforated section flaked off in a perfect square in the lumbar section. These were not covered by Ford and were stated as "wear and tear" by the warranty claims department. I had these repaired at an upholstery shop and 2 years and 70,000miles later have not had the same issues. These should have been covered under warranty
Have several Ford and Lincoln vehicles with leather and have never had this problem
