I've had this fixed - not fixed, twice. Replaced the fuel pump, low pressure at cost of $615. Shortly afterward the car continued to die while driving. This happened intermittently. It's now happening frequently, usually at lower speeds. It just dies while driving. Then I stop and restart it. The engine acts as if it's not going to start, but then it does.
I've had this worked on twice and it still is not fixed.
I haven't yet gone to the Ford dealer because I don't like their prices, and I called today and they said they would first diagnose it and charge a $125 diagnostic fee to any repair.
I'll take it back to my mechanic and see what they say.
This is a safety issue and Ford needs to be called out on it.
