Took car in for maintenance and tires, and was told 4 year old lug nuts all spun and swollen - they are unsafe to reinstall. Ford will not cover them - the service department advised they would re-assemble but I would have to sign a waiver absolving them of responsibility for this safety concern if they reuse the swollen lug nuts. Happy to sell me 20 new lug nuts of the same design, plenty in stock...
This is not how to build brand loyalty. One should expect more from a "World Class" automotive manufacturer.
