I was in my neighborhood heading to the store at the top the street I heard something like a clunky noise sounded like something fell out the bottom then it stopped immediately after no light or anything on to make me think of any issue with my car it started leaking like something broke kind of a burning smell then it wouldn-??t move it would come on shift gears but not move at all it-??s now been at Ford since last week they are trying to find the problem I guess seems to me like it-??s part of the recall with torque converter they left me a voicemail saying it was a lot of metal and maybe the engine not sure
The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled upon the depression of the accelerator pedal with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer where a mechanic was able to reset the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. The contact was then notified by the dealer that her vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V427000 (Power Train). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

I pulled straight into my garage, put the car in park, took my foot off of the brake pedal, and the car drove forward. If there wasn't a pole in between the car and the garage wall, it would have gone through the wall.
Vehicle keeps randomly showing a shift system fault when I go to drive and a piece that should connect to the transmission to allow the vehicle to shift into gear keeps disconnecting causing the car to stay in park and the emergency brake to stay on.
Backup camera only performs about 50% of the time the image appears distorted or not show at all while the vehicle is in reverse. This has been occurring since July 2020. There is never any specific moments that cause the camera to not perform such as type of roads driven down, the outside temperatures, weather or time of day, it is just occurs sporadically.
Shift dial get stuck in park, will not shift out of park even with the override, have had it looked at twice, both times there was "no problems, " and the shop always it works when the tow truck drops it off. It happens on and off, never gives an error message or throws a code. Could be driving one minute, get home, shut the car off, a couple hours later get back in, and it doesn't shift anymore. It's extremely inconvenient and considering the Ford dealership says "this happens a lot" I don't understand why they don't recall the faulty cable or relay or transmission or shift dial if it happens all the time, because after taking it to 3 different shops, they all have no answer to the issue, just to "deal with it". and the fact that the override doesn't work is a big problem. But Ford does their thing and I guess won't recall something they know is a problem on many of their 2017 Ford Fusion SE's even though it's a safety issue but I guess that's Ford, more about pumping crap cars out than they are worried about making them safe when the same problem occurs on multiple 2017 Ford Fusion.
I was driving home one night on gordon dr in ruston, Louisiana when an animal entered the road so I steered to the left to avoid the animal and suddenly loss control of steering. This caused me to crash into a ditch with a cement drain. My car proceeded to drag on the ground so I did not drive it and reported it to insurance and it was declared totaled.
Driving 70mph on highway when car shut down. No power and no brakes. Was able to get onto shoulder and car automatically went from D into P on its own once it came to complete stop. Car restarted and was able to finish trip with no other problems. Very scary and dangerous.
Turned car on and immediately received the shift sys fault service required warning. Car would not go into gear as well as the parking brake would not go off. Attempted to utilize the key hole in the center console, did not assist at all. Tow truck moved car to the house for us. The car was stationary during the attempting to move into drive.
When driving the vehicle, and there is a bump right tire seems to shake, when turning to the right I hear a scrape. When the vehicle is on and on parking, a rattling noise goes off.
My car will not shift into different gears it was parked at my job I go to start it, it cuts on and has all the power it just will not go into drive or neutral I tried resetting it but all the lights just come on will not move
The Ford "sync 3" system, which seems to be the brains of nearly all interior controls and accessories has been malfunctioning in multiple Ford models for a few years now. Thing affected include all HVAC controls, audio controls, power seats, windows, remote start abilities and more. Ford aware of the malfunctions in current and previous models, yet they refuse to issue any recall or technical service bulletin. The dealerships insist they can't duplicate the issue even after having been shown videos of the cars malfunctions. A quick search through online Ford forums will this issue is widely experienced and that it's clearly a manufacturing defect and Ford should be liable.
Driving on the highway at least at 65 mph, the car in front of me hit his brakes and went in to a complete stop. I did not have time to stop, I hit the car, none of the air bags deployed. The driver side door could not open because the frame of the car shifted. Right after impact a gush of liquid started pouring out. It was taken to the shop to get fixed but after a couple of days the car was deemed a total loss.
