My brakes are faulty sometimes I-??m not able to stop like I should. I also have transmission problems. When I put the car into reverse or drive I hear a loud boom. It is getting worse by the day. I see that the transmission is on a recall as well.
My brakes are grinding squealing/rattling and i have pads replaced, no rotor wear, not sure what-??s wrong. I-??ve brought my car in to be serviced 3+ times and have left with no fixed car and worse brakes. When i bring up issues with my car that are related to the recalls the car has, they tell me those recalls don-??t apply to my car although im having the same problems. My brakes have progressively gotten worse/louder and the pressure on my pedals is not the same. I-??m scared to drive my car and i have been trying to get it fixed for months. This is not the only problem im having, my gas tank -??farts-?? constantly and my car will stall and shut off unless i turn off auto start stop. There is no recall on this yet it-??s a KNOWN problem. It makes the car undriveable.
L/S Brake Hose Rear Replacement needed. Brake fluid leak rear caliper and brake hose and line rear flexible hose is split and leaking. Only Front brake hose was recalled when all brake all lines need to be replaced.

Brake service lights comes on. Noticed softer feel when pressing on brakes and longer distance needed to come to complete stop. There were no noticeable changes in driving habits before the maintenance light came on. Diagnostics were done 02/2023 at Sacramento Downtown Ford and was told to replace a brake hose.
A recall notice was mailed to me from Ford in April 2023 for Safety Recall 23V162. I have not received notification by October 2023 on when to schedule the brake line repair. The letter states that it is anticipated to be remedied by the 3rd quarter of 2023.
The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving approximately 20-?"30 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed, but there was resistance, and the brakes was slow to respond. While driving approximately 50 MPH, the brake pedal was firm and had to be pumped several times to respond. The contact stated that the brake hose had ruptured. The brake fluid warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to get the vehicle off the road. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer and the contact was informed that there was brake fluid on the brake pads and the brake pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V162000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). However, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 58,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
While traveling down the road, suddenly the steering gets hard to turn and the antilock brake system goes out. Usually, you can correct the problem by stomping on the brake or turning the car off and back on. Several warnings come up including Advancetrac failure. It-??s a very dangerous situation when your power steering goes out while traveling down the road. This same issue has occurred more than 5 times.
My car started smoking out of nowhere, smoke was coming out of the tail pipe. My cars check engine light begin to blink. The whole entire car begin to shake. It was making a rattling sound, the car begin to slow down on its own, even though I was pressing the gas. It wouldn-??t go any faster than 65 miles an hour as the car begin to shake and make a loud rattling noise. My AC went out all of a sudden this was two hours after getting it serviced.
Due to transmission issues from what in hearing. The cars front end locked up while i was driving. I could not push the car out of the steeet. It is stuck in park. Luckily I wasn't on the freeway. But I was on a busy street and the police had to block the road.

No only by the Ford agency in SLP Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear" Yes a red message was showed indicating review brake system, and the brake hand be activated when I was driving, I got this message at April 18th 2023, I pay to the ford car agency to review and they indicated that it was a sensor that dos not work so they reprogrammed it, then on June 27th the warning message appear again, then I reach the ford car agency and now they are telling me that the vacuum pump is failing and needs to be replaced
I am getting the Shift system error and error u200296 when I get it scanned. The shift linkage keeps popping off and we have replaced it multiple times making it impossible to change gears
Some months ago the check brakes light came on. I went to the brake shop and they said there was a little wear on the rear brake pads so they replaced them and cleaned all the brakes and filled the fluid. I was fine for a a while then a few months ago the check brakes light reappeared. At that time I saw Ford was recalling my car model for faulty brake lines. I called Ford and the local dealer and they said my car is not recalled yet. I also emailed Ford with the same reply. Now I notice is I park my car where the front is elevated the brakes are very loose and I have to pump them to stop when I put the car in reverse.

The car was accelerated by itself when I was driving the car and the dashboard did not gave me any warning light that something in the car need attention.

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while depressing the brake pedal; brake fluid was seen leaking from underneath the front passenger-??s side wheel. Additionally, the vehicle would not immediately start while pressing the brake pedal and START/STOP button. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 138,000.
Failure of vacuum pump caused the brakes and engine to fail on the highway. No warning indications appeared until after the vehicle was brought to a stop. The vehicle was diagnosed at Riser Ford. The mechanics claim that a plastic part in the vacuum pump system broke. After further research I found that this a common occurrence with the Eco boost engines. An investigation is warranted, Ford's negligence and poor build quality has become a safety concern.
The Ford Fusion suffered a brake and engine failure. Ford mechanics claim it is due to a plastic part in the vacuum pump. This vehicle is completely unsafe and is prone to mechanical failures that snowball into hazardous driving conditions.
