The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving approximately 10 MPH, the trunk would inadvertently open whenever the temperature was over 80 degrees. The contact also stated the trunk would inadvertently open while shifting gears. There was a clicking sound coming from the instrument panel whenever the trunk would open independently. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
