When I start accelerating from a stop, at about 5 mph, it "hiccups" and then lurches forward. It is moderate lurch that definitely grabs your attention. It's not fun.

When pushing on the gas to get power to pass or go up a hill, the downshift is occasionally very hard, but also several times it was not very hard.

I was turning out of the barber shop, got up to 15 mph and the car pulled back, shifted hard and make a loud noise and then lunged forward. There were people around me looking at my car as I drove off. The car should not be shifting like that, it's done it about 15 times since I bought the car in August.
