Have a 2016 fusion se 1.6L. A couple weeks ago my heater wasn't blowing hot air and my high coolant temp light came on which I thought was odd. When I got home my coolant reservoir was almost bone dry. There was no leaks from the radiator or any of hoses/lines etc. So i went ahead and got some coolant and filled it up to max fluid range.
Everything was fine until today on my way to work when I had no hot heat again and the high coolant temp light came back on. Once again there was no visible leaks from any hoses or the radiator. I guarantee that it is all going down into my oil pan, it's such an inconvenience especially when Ford knew about this happening to all these ecoboost engines. I can first hand say that the higher ups at FOMOCO only care about quantity and not quality. I have worked for FOMOCO at an assembly plant for almost 9 years and they know EVERY thing that is wrong and going to be wrong with their cars. I love my job but I will NEVER buy another Ford. They're a bunch of crooks.
