The contact stated that on two occasions while the vehicle was parked, the check engine, ABS, parking brake, traction on/off, and power train warning lights illuminated. Additionally, the steering wheel became firm. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the electronic power steering module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 165,000.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the brake line ruptured. The parking brake was applied but was inoperable. The electronic parking brake warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the brake booster needed to be replaced. The parts were on back order. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but provided no additional assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.

Additionally, several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that when the brake pedal was depressed, the vehicle rocked back and forth. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, no failure was found. The failure recurred. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V162000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. Within a short period of time of owning the vehicle, the contact stated that it went into a transportation mode while driving that led to a drastic reduction in speed. The vehicle was towed to the following dealers: Lasco Ford (2525 owen rd, fenton, mi 48430, (888) 486-1708) and royal oak Ford (27550 woodward ave, royal oak, mi 48067, (248) 548-4100). One of the dealers diagnosed that the steering and parking brake failed. A loaner vehicle was provided for a short period of time, but the failures were not corrected for the contact to drive her vehicle. Lasco Ford replaced the throttle body, motor assembly, and a gasket; however, the failure continued. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 1.
