Driving home, came around the corner and there was a large bin for dirt/construction on the corner in front of my house. Didn't know it was there and it startled me, so I hit the brakes to avoid hitting it and the front wheels locked up, I heard a grinding sound and I couldn't turn the steering wheel and hit the bin on the passenger front side. No bags deployed, a light on the dash came on Service Advance Trac. Now I'm out $$$$ and had to report to my insurance.

Anyone have anything similar to this? Any success getting Ford to cover the repair?
