So I went to start car, and had to get a jump went and put on machine to tell you what was wrong. Check engine light came on (it never ran hot) and put it on the machine. I was told plugs needed to be replaced, so I replaced plugs, light went off. I went out to leave 2 days later and the car wouldn't start, so I called and was told sounds like starter is bad. I had it towed to shop, was told engine bad, towed to a Ford dealer, and at this time was told powertrain control module and possibly battery needs replaced.
So needless to say, we paid out over 13,000.00 for the part and a new battery... needless to say problem not fixed and I was then told that the engine needed to be replace due to the head gasket seal breaking, and again car never ran hot!!!!! Welp... and imagine that the warranty won't cover this issue, because it only covers lubricated parts... hello... isn't the seal lubricated????
So needless to say we don't have thousands of dollars to replace an engine... especially with my husband's health issues... I am going to write Ford and see what I can do...
