When getting ready to park the car the car says it's it nuetral but it's actually I believe in park. I took my foot off the break and it was moving backwards. I put the parking break on the car so it is stationary.
The vehicle electrical system shuts down and there is no power at all to any system. This has happened numerous times. The last time the dealer reprogrammed the computer and thought that fixed it. But it died again last week.
I have made several complaints about my 2015 Ford Fusion. The air conditioner will randomly shut off, and when this happens, I also cannot use any of my 4 windows, the radio, lock the car from the inside, and now my outside lights wont always turn on. For whatever reason, this happens more in the summer months. I have two toddlers and we travel long distance fairly regularly. What happens if its a hot summer day, the ac shuts off and I cant roll down my windows, especially when I have my children? 6/19/2020 I had a doctors appointment one hour away and this happened to me; luckily I did not have my children with. I often work evenings and nights, half an hour away from home. I can't drive with no headlights. There is 0 pattern in these issues so I cannot pinpoint what exactly triggers this. Pulling over and completely shutting off the car, taking the keys out of the ignition, and waiting for all electricity to shut off before restarting the car does not make a difference. I had to bring my car in 3 times for this, each time being told "nothing found that was wrong with the car" until I called the Ford company, made a complaint, and received a case number, and am now being told the internal computer system is "shot". the more I researched online about these issues, the more I see other's making same/similar complaints for the same vehicle.
I leased a used vehicle on 6/5 and was kept there till autoplaza's closing time at 7 so when I finally left the car lot I realized while driving on the highway that there was no horn. I called when they reopened on 6/6 to schedule it to be fixed which they agreed to have it ready by 6/8, unfortunately while driving on the highway that same afternoon on 6/6 the cars engine died and I managed to coast the car off the highway into a random parking lot. I immediately called the sales man and I quote he said 'it's more than likely the alternator and that he was already tracking me on gps' so I was told to lock the keys in the car and it would be towed back to the dealership to be ready by 6/8. fast forward to the afternoon of 6/8, I call the dealership a hour before getting off work at 3:30pm to verify it would be ready by 5 and to my surprise I was told they were unsure if they had the car to begin with and was put on hold till the phone call dropped from their end. I called back again and was met with a voicemail so I left it alone and tried to get information again on 6/10. This time the sales man said it wasn't his problem and to call the office for service but after being forwarded to voicemail multiple times I demanded to speak with a manager. I tell the manager I'm aware it's illegal to sell a car without a horn and that I've been duped so I want my money back and his answer was no that he already received money from a bank on my behalf. I told him he had till the end of 6/10 to give me a answer on when it would be ready or I would get a lawyer so his answer was no matter what he would call me by 5pm that day with a status update but he never called. Since then I've been unable to get any straight answer or even a manager on the phone and it's been almost 3 weeks. I have a payment due from them for $250 every 2 weeks which is due tomorrow but I blocked the payments.

The sync intouch system in my 2015 Ford Fusion is not working properly. For example, when I go to my climate setting it states temporary lost communication with the climate system. I'm not able to turn my volume on or off/up or down, or change the radio station. I'm also not able to roll down my passenger side window. The issue happens whether I'm stationary or driving.
The door latch of the rear left door won't latch. I am unable to close the door (door stays open, unlocked). I tried numerous times to shut the door closed unsuccessfully. The car was stationary this morning when I went and opened the door, but when I tried to close I notice the door stays loose open.
Has problems starting after putting gas in the tank. Check engine light on, mechanic says it's a purge valve. Know alot of other Fusion owners with same problem. Seems to be happening around 40,000 miles. Have to sit at gas station about 10 to 15 min sometimes. Others times just starts rough.
The entire center console instrument panel stops working. The radio will not work and the climate control and rear defroster will not work. I am unable to defrost the windows or keep the entire cabin of the car warm. It first happened this morning when I was headed to work. I drove the car for approximately one mile, and everything stopped working. I pulled over and shut the car down and restarted it, everything worked for approximately a minute before shutting down again.
Mileage of car is 53,100. Wife (driver) reported that while driving in normal traffic at night, the car lost all electrical power: Lights, motor function, radio, etc. She turned on the emergency flashers and came to a stop. She turned the key to restart and car functioned normally. I checked the car the following day and no problems detected.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. While driving at an unknown speed, several warning indicators illuminated. The interior dome light illuminated and the air conditioner activated independently. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also mentioned that previously the vehicle had been included in a front end collision however, the air bags did not deploy. The contact was concerned that the failure to deploy may have been due to an issue with the orc module. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

Ford Fusion hybrid, stationary(parked on a slightly raised drive way) for 2 weeks I was on vacation. The car was parked with the gear shifter in parking. Neighbor told me brake lights came on all of a sudden. Stayed on for 3 days, and went out. Car needed jump start. Car is at Ford dealership in sarasota fl. I was told the switch on the back of the brake pedal is broken. Car needs brake pedal assembly replaced.this rare part is on national back order. My car has 64000 miles on it.car has been grounded for 3 weeks already. Car has been grounded for 3 weeks already. Could this be a safety risk?
After merging and accelerating onto the freeway, over to the far left lane, "stop safely now" warning came up and the car lost all power. Luckily I was able to coast all the way to the right shoulder (what Hawaii considers a shoulder, still very dangerous) the vehicle would not start, only beep multiple times and display the same message. After 5 min on phone trying to get Ford roadside assistance, the local highway patrol tow truck showed up. Before I allowed him to tow the vehicle I tried to start it and was successful.
I received a recall notice (18S08 recall 18V-167) in may of 2018, ironically right after my charging device melted in my garage outlet. Ford has said for months that they would have this resolved by 2019. I went two weeks ago to my deal and they still have no update as to when this will be resolved. I have not been able to charge my car at home in a year!!! this is not acceptable...
Still waiting for the replacement charging cable. I check regularly with the dealer and they have no date when it will be available. NHTSA recall 18V592 applies.
