Ford replaced all four wheels under warranty (1 reports)
Bought this car new in 2014, the dealership got approval to take black painted rims off one car to put on the black car I wanted to purchase. 3 months later noticed clear coat coming off, Ford replaced two rims. Now that the rims are on a recall and my car isn't, they won't replace the rims. Beyond annoyed, they bent over backwards to sell me the car with those rims, now they won't fix their own defect. Who do I turn to to get help in this matter?
I love my 2014 Fusion except for the black 18" rims peeling. I went to Ford and they took pictures for my service record. The service adviser then told me that Ford was coming up with a fix. This happened in June 2015 and its almost August 2015 and still waiting. I have been on several Fusion Forums and the majority of the owners have had rims replaced under warranty. If replacing the rims are an issue why can't Ford replace rims of my choosing. I am getting restless.
