My wife had just pulled out of a parking spot. She started moving forward when the car starting leaping forward on it's own. This happened 3-4 times. The car then slammed on the brakes on it's own and then all power shut off and the vehicle died. She was unable to start the vehicle again and it had to be towed to the dealer. Had this happened a minute later she would have been on a 55mph street. And I could be writing about her death or someone else because of it.
The car is at the dealer now and we are getting the "unable to duplicate" and "Ford has our hands tied" story.
The vehicle is unsafe and we need it fixed or bought back.
