The seat belt tightened up. I noticed it a few days ago. Today when I was trying to put the seat back up it wouldn't because the seat belt has no slack to let it come up.

My 2014 Ford Fusion has electrical problems. The ac/heater just come on full blast sometimes and sometimes not at all.. it is very dangerous when I'm trying to drive in bad weather. It wont even defrost my windows correctly.. my transmission is slipping and has done so for 5 years. Ford dealers have not helped in anyway even thought I have a recall letter stating the there was a recall on the shifter cable. It said that my car isn't going all the way into gear/park and it could cause problems for transmission in the future and it has. I need help, please! the shifter cable broke completely off and fidd had it towed to fix it. They fixed it in less then 30mins but did not even look at my transmission after I told them that my car is driving horrible. It has no power hardly when I press the gas. I have almost been in several bad wrecks because of it. I can't drive over 70 miles an hour so my car knocking really hard. Also my headliner on the inside of my car is falling down. Ford said they were measured wrong when they built these Ford Fusion but have yet to do a recall on them. It has fallen down on my little girls head and my own head while driving at a dangerous speed.

Vehicle was stationary foot on brakes in reverse. My sister touched the back of the car with her hand I heard a loud beeeeeeep then never heard any sound again. Not even when the keys are left in the ignition or when I'm unbuckled. Not a single sound. Then 3 months later the brakes were stalling so I got new rotors and pads and they still stall/ shake. As if that wasn't enough now it just doesn't start: I've googled all these problems and I'm not the only one. Ford should not be allowed to keep selling the same broken cars.

The problem began in February 2019 when the described car began to stall while in drive, reverse and/or park. Car shakes violently and then dies stating 'press brake to start'. after the car is put in park, turned off and back on, car resumes normal function. After first taking in the car, the turbocharger was found to be the culprit. After getting a very expensive repair done, the problem returned shortly after. Traveling across the country, the problem happened again. After returning home and having more work done, the problem continued to happen. When on city roads, in the driveway or parking lots, the stalling continued. In only nine months, the new spark plugs needed to be replaced and two engine coils had failed. Then after this work was completed, the problem continued but no engine light had come on. Then in December 2019 the car was taken to a Ford dealership in Kansas to be diagnosed. After claiming the transmission needed work or even worse possible replacement, I was faced with the question of whether or not to keep the car. After the car was finished at the dealership with no repair done other than a recall, the engine light came on and the problem became worse: More frequent and more intense shaking. After multiple calls made to the dealership to inquire about after market warranty coverage on the repair, the dealership has not called back.

My 2014 Ford Fusion SE has a recall on it for the brushing transmission cable. This has not been fixed and while I am driving my car throws itself into neutral and stops in the middle of the road. So far it has only happened while turning a corner. I am worried about wrecking my car. This recall came out on July 17th, 2018 and I bought my car September 21, 2018. So I never received the recall in the mail. I looked up recalls on my vehicle and found this. Even though it's been a while since I bought my car, am I still qualified for my car to get fixed with no charge to me?.

The car will pulsate and shake when driving, then the check engine light would come on. You can't accelerate, like there no accelerating in then the car cut off, which is danger. I have had this car for less then a year, I just payed close to 1,000 bucks getting it fix from having electrical problems that my warranty did not cover. I had to take to the shop for things that was or recalled., in now this. I think I was sell a lemon.

Drove a short distance to meet a friend. When I came out to go home my dash lights would not work, door chime and seat presets inoperative. Also determined on the way home that I had no turn signals, window controls, high beams or radio. Looked online to discover that Ford are susceptible to electrical issues. The low key battery warning had been on all day prior to this happening. This is very dangerous as it is winter here and we are expecting rain and snow.

Turn signals suddenly did not function/wipers also non -function - steering wheel button controls - non- function did some internet research and several had the same issue happen - several Ford techs resolved with cycling the high beams on the vehicles- I did the same and resolved the issue as well- this is a safety hazard and fellow Ford Fusion owners need to be alerted this can happen suddenly.

I purchased my Ford while it was still under the warranty. I took it to a dealer because I was losing power while driving in a certain gear at a certain RPM after the engine was running for about 30 minutes. I was told it was a wiring issue which I had the dealer fix. By this time I was close to the warranty being up. It didnt fix the issue. The vehicle loses power intermittently or stutters. I get P0352 codes. I have been dealing with it because it is intermittent but recently the wiring harness melted on an ignition coil. I have replaced the ignition coils, the pig tail, the spark plugs, changed transmission fluid, rechecked all the cables, and once the dealer reprogrammed the PCM. It has to be the transmission but because it is intermittent the dealer cant find anything wrong. I actually lost power once at low speeds after the transmission slipped and dinged a poll causing a dent in my car. Thankfully I only lost power once on the high way and no one hit me. Since I am out of warranty I am forced to find the cause and fix it myself. I do not have 4 grand for a new transmission install. My research shows that Ford has three issues with my year. 1. ignition coils over heating due to bad pcms or programming 2. transmission bubbles or tears forming in the rings 3. cable controls on the transmissions. I am out of options and dont know what to do so I figure I would warn off others. Dont by a Ford with the 6F35 transmission unless it is a later year. I hear the 2019 has it fixed and I wish I could have one of those but the best I can do is warn others. I am stuck. 2 years of my life wasted.

While driving on a California freeway, a foul sulfur smell filled up the cabin with my family inside. Less than 12 hours later, the car battery was dead and there was leaked fluid all over the battery. The Ford motorcraft battery has a 7/16 sticker, and we are in 9/18. There was no corrosion to the terminals. The smell that was released was hydrogen sulfide, very toxic and deadly. It is also flammable. Because of the failed battery, we could not open the doors except for the driver side, which we opened from the outside using the hidden key inside the fob. The other doors and windows are still non-operational due to a dead battery. This leads me to my main concern. If the battery had caught on fire due to the leaking acid, my family would have been trapped inside the car because the power doors and windows would be non-operational. The only possible escape would be through the emergency trunk release however I am not sure of it's functionality without power.

The climate control system shuts off and stays off for long periods of time, meaning there is no functioning air conditioning in vehicle. It's been off for almost a week now for me. It's off when it's stationary or in motion. The problem isn't with the air conditioner itself as it'll sometime come on and remain on for a long duration. The volume knob also becomes inoperable. Some drivers of this vehicle weren't able to operate their windows as well when the climate system shut off so I believe it's faulty wiring somewhere. We already know why this is dangerous. We can die of heat exhaustion especially since I'm experiencing 100 degree weather right now. Secondly, when it rains, the interior fogs up making it nearly impossible to drive. The vehicle was taken to a Ford dealership for this very issue and the problem has not been fixed. Here is a video on youtube showing what this looks like. I have lost ability to accelerate while driving on highway and vehicle would not go above 40 mph on I-20, a 70mph road system, car jolts or jumps even without foot on accelerator so that I have no control over the car's acceleration. Gas gauge jumps wildly and randomly from 22 mpg to 99 mpg. Brake lights and other lighting systems remain on when car is completely shut down and headlights and interior lights are turned to off position. Additionally, after the car is in park and turned off, vehicle will jump forward several inches. Several additional inconsistent light issues when car is turned on and off. Passenger seatbelt does not work. Problems began 2018 and continue to present day. Local Ford dealership unconcerned and unhelpful in prioritizing the repairs after multiple calls and direct discussion with service manager.

Car randomly loses complete power. This has happened mostly when starting for first time (when off for awhile) but has also happened at stop sign/light and even while in motion at high speed. There is a clicking noise when this happens (relay chatter). Subsequent restart will yield same results until finally becomes stable and I am able to drive. Only seems to happen during warmer summer months.
