CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.
In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

On March 14 2016 as I was leaving work I opened my sunroof. I had only opened it a few times since I purchased the car in March 2015. I heard something while it was opening but didn't think anything about it. A couple of miles down the road I glanced up and thought I had water on the glass. When I got home I looked closer the glass was cracked from one side to the other. The next day I called Ford customer service and told him about the sunroof. He checked their records and said that he didn't have any reports on this happening before. I told him that I had already had the front windshield replaced in August 2015 because a rock had cracked my windshield all the way across. I told him that I was going to have to call the glass repair company to come out and replace the sunroof. He suggested before I called them to take it to a Ford dealership and have them check the tracking on the sunroof. The dealership looked at it and didn't know why the glassed cracked and they fixed it for $847.00.
I don't like my car and will never purchase a Ford again. I know any vehicle can have problems but I have
had more problems with this car in the year that I have had it than my 2006 Dodge Caravan that I still have.
