CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.

In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

I think at this point, after all the recalls they should issue me a new car, all of the recalls are bad there are so many of them. Now another one. Doesn't Ford realize this car is nothing but a Lemon. The car is only 8 years old. I thought my car was going to get me into a car accident it was so bad. Whatever happened to the transmission did something to the motor? It makes a scary noise now. Now I am afraid to drive my car Now. and I did love my car. I have 2 friends with the same car and they have not had any problems at all with their car. I remember my boyfriend had me take this car in five times for recalls before I got the car.

Third times a charm right? 3rd TIME IN THE SHOP, SINCE November. This time I have to replace my transmission. Do you know how discouraging it is to be stuck in a vehicle on the side of the road for the 3rd time in less than 2 months? This time my kids were in the car when it happened. I buy a car for it to be dependable, I serviced my car like a champ as I was supposed to and this is what I get in return.

It was estimated $5000 to replace my entire transmission, because Ford will not fix the problem since it is over 100,000. So I am now stuck with a POS car that will not run, that I still am paying for. Even if I get it fixed which I have to, because it is my only form of transportation, I am afraid to drive it again, for fear it will brake down on the side of a busy California freeway for a 4th or 5th time.

Ford Fusions are NOT dependable, and are surely not worth it. I have never been as frustrated with a car as I am with this one! I WANT MY HYUNDAI SONOTA BACK! At least then I know I'd get from point A to point B with out breaking down.

Just bought the car at the dealership and shortly after driving noticed a jerking of the transmission when I would start off from a stopped position.
