CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.
In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

There was a coolant leak which was recalled, but in our car it had made it to the engine already and needed a whole new large block put in. Which was covered by Ford because of the recall. At same time the transmission was not letting us shift into reverse. We though a minor issue, should have known better being this car. It ended up being a valve body and more which was $4,000 to fix. With all the issues and recalls on this car I am done with it! love my trucks from Ford but never again getting a car from Ford, my Hyundai cheap car ran better and never had engine issues even with over 200,000 miles.
