CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.
In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

I just went to open the windows cuz I wanted to get some air flow inside the cabin. And noticed that the hood looked like it was popped. I had a squirrel get in there once and chew on some wires, so I thought that maybe it happened again...idk really. I opened the hood just to check around inside there. There's some kind of rubber padding on the bottom edge along the front of the hood that was at one point stuck to the metal with some kind of adhesive pad. Kind of lame - it just hangs off now. Anyways so I thought all was lost but I futzed with it but I doubt I did anything. I just let the hood slam shut from fully opened and both hood latches finally locked.
