CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.
In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

Upon driving down the road, I attempted to use my turn signal... yes, cars have those... they failed to work, as well as all the other controls on my steering wheel. As it was unsafe to drive, I contacted 3 of my local Ford dealers, two of which the service department was closed, and the one I purchased my car at, which has 24/7 service, couldn't get me in until the following day. What is the point of that, especially when it is a safety issue!!! I ended up taking it to Autozone, where a tech looked at the fuses, which, might I mention, extremely hard to get at without taking part of the dash off the car!!! He ended up pulling the fuse for the issue I was having but it wasn't blown at all. He put it back in, still not fixed, turned the car off again, then holy crap it worked.
No issues since then, except I can't get my cluster back to the gas gauge and tach that I like so I can monitor the gear shift as I have to repeatedly manually fix, and the mpg estimate is all f***ed up as well as estimate till empty. It is now estimating that I can get 450 miles out of one tank, what a joke, I never get more than 300, when the gas warning comes on, and now I actually have less gas in the tank than it says!!! Nice right!
Any help with this issue or if anyone has experience the same, I would love to know what the issue is????
