CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.
In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

Have a 2013 Ford Fusion, hood release latch has always been hard to pull on, its a piece of plastic is all it is. It came completely off when we tried to open the hood. Dealer wants over $300.00 to install a new one. Now, I understand things break in cars, but really, a hood release latch? Its a piece of plastic. Now when I go to get oil changes no one wants to try to open it. Took it to a truck stop finally found some guys to change the oil for me using a set of pliers to pull it open. Yes im mad, its a pain in the ass. I will not buy another ford
