order new latch cover and glue it to the latch (1 reports)
Whenever I popped my trunk the plastic latch cover kept coming off and flying into the rear of the trunk. I tried re-attaching it but kept falling off. It got annoying enough when both me and a family member both on separate occassions hit our heads on the exposed metal latch. It took two tries and the dealer to get it fixed. First try- service rep put it on just as I had. I knew that wouldn't work and it didn't. I brought it back in a week and they ordered a new latch cover. Service technician glued it to the latch and now the problem is solved.
