CarComplaints.com Notes: Power steering problems started rearing their ugly head in the 2010 Fusion, so you'd think Ford had plenty of time to make sure those problems didn't creep into the 2012. But here we are.
And much like the power steering, we’re still seeing the same throttle body failures that started in 2010 continue in 2012.

About These NHTSA Complaints:
This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The head rests/restraints of this vehicle protrude forward in an unnatural way and force a person's head forward in an unnatural position. This is causing pinched nerves in my neck resulting in tingling in my feet when I am driving. I have researched this online, and hundreds of other people (maybe more) are complaining of the same problem with the head rests/restraints, resulting in various physical problems for those people, including backaches, neck aches, and headaches. Not all Ford have this protruding head rest, but a number of them do. I have seen a lot of complaints on the Focus and edge as well. I have looked at other makes by other companies, and they don't have these protruding headrests/restraints.
