CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Fusion builds off the 2010's reputation. That's not a good thing.
The first thing that jumps out is the ridiculous amount of power steering complaints. It grinds, it squeals, and it eventually just fails.
And if losing power steering isn’t enough for you, how about a sudden loss of engine power? That combination is enough to achieve clunker status.

Front driver brake applies itself were it smokes and the pads wear out within 1000 miles. Caliper replaced rubber line replaced. After replacing the rubber line attempted to bleed and no fluid would pump though. The fluid will leak completely out if the line is left open but will not pump out when the brake is applied. The caliper is new and in good working condition the line is not plugged. Within the last 20,000 mile had a deal replace all calipers, rotors, pads and flushed the system. $2500 brake job now this. Been working on cars for 45 years never seen this insane problem. Not repaired yet going to attempt a new master cylinder. Any ideas other than that would be appreciated. can't figure this one out.
Update from Oct 12, 2024: Have now changed the master cylinder with no results. Still has the same problems
