CarComplaints.com Notes: Ford significantly updated the Fusion for the 2010 model year. We wish they hadn't
Throttle body issues have led to a ton of reports about a sudden deceleration and loss of power while driving. Ford issued a “customer satisfaction program” in March 2014 that, unsurprisingly, has left very few customers satisfied.
2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

The day after we bought our 2010 Ford Fusion we noticed smokey or foggy looking aberrations in the rear window. There were many and covered the entire width of the window. We attempted to clean the window but it did no good. We brought it back to the dealer and they tried to clean it but it did no good. We had to fight with the dealer and Ford warranty for 2 months before they would finally put a new window in. After we brought the car back with the new window installed we noticed that this window was even worse !! It seems that this aberration can only be seen in certain lighting conditions like at sundown so now I have been told by Ford and the dealer that there is nothing more they can do and it is just the way the glass is. I have since seen this same aberration in many other Fusions including every single car sitting on a dealer's lot. It is ugly and should not have ever been put on the market. This is a warning to everyone who is thinking about buying a Fusion. It is unacceptable in a new car. Check out the car windows yourselves but do it near sundown. See my pictures. They are of the original window. They show it somewhat but is much worse when seen in person.
This is a very abbreviated version of my story. You just would not believe what I have gone through with trying to get satisfaction from Ford. I have been a life long Ford owner but I will never buy another one because of what they have put me through.
