CarComplaints.com Notes: Ford significantly updated the Fusion for the 2010 model year. We wish they hadn't
Throttle body issues have led to a ton of reports about a sudden deceleration and loss of power while driving. Ford issued a “customer satisfaction program” in March 2014 that, unsurprisingly, has left very few customers satisfied.
2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

moon roof will not open and would not lock shut
I was originally a GM customer but have switched to Ford as I personally liked that Ford did not take a bale out when the economy was bad and I also was disappointed in GM. I have purchased a Ford150 and a Ford Fusion. The Ford Fusion for a 4 year old vehicle that when people get in still says it smells new will tell you that this vehicle is not abused, it is in immaculate condition. I did not expect to have the moon roof fail on a 4 year old car that rarely gets used. I feel this is a problem with the manufacturer not the customer. I am considering not buying a Ford when I trade in the Fusion............I am that frustrated but mostly disappointed with Ford.
