The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis where it was stated that the throttle body needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. While driving approximately 30 mph the contact stated that the vehicle began to shift hard. He stated that the transmission slips, and at times when he engaged the accelerator pedal it hesitated. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who reprogrammed the PCM. The contact stated that the failure occurred again and the dealer replaced the value body. He stated that the failure occurred three times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer when the complaint was filed. The approximate failure mileage was 7,200 and the current mileage was 8,300.
