CarComplaints.com Notes: Ford significantly updated the Fusion for the 2010 model year. We wish they hadn't
Throttle body issues have led to a ton of reports about a sudden deceleration and loss of power while driving. Ford issued a “customer satisfaction program” in March 2014 that, unsurprisingly, has left very few customers satisfied.
2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

The car was taken to London Courtesy Ford on Saturday afternoon to be fixed. No heat in car plus engine over heated past Hot. Waited 3 hours to be fixed though Ford took me to a friends home to pick up another vehicle to Christmas shop since they could not give me one. This occurred the second week before Christmas.Dealership closed at 5 pm. Went onto the 401 to go home and the engine over heated in -6 degree weather. Had to be towed to a different/closer car dealership after waiting one hour in a Tim Horton in the cold building. Had to waste another 1/2 hour till car was seen and placed at dealership. I didn't realize I should return car to London but feared I would be strained in London for 4 days. Car is still not back from repair after 5 days.
