The manufacturer was also contacted and confirmed that the parts were unavailable for the repair, and stated that they were working with NHTSA to have the parts available. Regarding recall NHTSA recall 17V-024. Have contacted Ford motor numerous times with the same response; no parts available at this time. This response is unsatisfactory. I feel they are not looking for replacement passenger air bags due to the year of this vehicle. Someone needs to light a fire under them to get them to take responsibility and resolve this issue.

Takata recall - airbag inflator - we received notice January 2017 that our airbag needed replaced, we still do not have it replaced, no remedy to the situation yet!
Takata recall. I made an appointment with airport Ford in florence Kentucky to have the airbags replaced, took my car in and received a phone call to come get my car because the dealership could not get the airbags. I have not been contacted since. I was told that the company that makes the airbags for my car was in bankruptcy and that the airbags were no longer available.
"takata recall" I received the notice to have my airbags replaced & bolton Ford has not responded. My driver door will not open from the inside of the vehicle & my brakes need me to go all the way to the floor before the brakes stop the car. Car was stationery when driver door would not open & driving coming to a stop when brakes need pushing to the floor to work properly.

Takata recall I have received 2 notices about the recall one March 2017 and one November 2017, I contacted olathe Ford about this 3 times with no help what so ever saying I could contact Ford at an 800 #. if this is a recall and they can't help with it, I don't understand what kind of company this is. We have always purchased from Ford but this is a serious recall?

Takata recall - my dealership has not provided replacement airbags. I have called several times and they have not replaced the airbags stating that replacement parts are not available from Ford. This is a danger to me.
