Having the fog lights corrode and the prisms fall out is unacceptable for a car that is only 8 years old. I noticed the one prism before it fell out and was lost but the other one had already fallen out and was gone. The car is low mileage (132 000 km) and well maintained. The complete fog light unit would need to be replaced to fix the problem and each one costs $200.00 and in addition to that there would be taxes and labour costs. I spoke to a representative at Ford Canada and he said he that it was a not an identified defect and that it would not be covered by warranty. How about a "standing behind the product because it was substandard?" No that wasn't possible either. I have also sent an e-mail complaint to Ford Canada and I am hoping for a more helpful response. How many other Ford Fusion SEL owners have fog lights that have fallen out?
