I had 5600 kilometres on my ford fusion when my car started to make a noise in the engine. I took it to the dealer who told me it was my lower end and that it's not cover under my warranty because I was missing records of 2 oil changes which add up to 10000 kilometres. the next week my motor blow making a big hole in the side of the motor with pieces of the piston and fragments of metal in the oil pan. I contacted ford Canada who told me that there is nothing that they can do because the oil has to be checked every 5000 kilometres and I'm missing 2oil changes, and by going on here I find out that this is not the first time that this has happened. i told the rep from ford about this and he told me that they are not aware of this and not to believe thing on the net. ford wanted 8000 plus tax for a new motor but I got 1for 3400 tax labour included so in conclusion I feel I got sold a bad quality motor in my car and ford still tried to rip me off for a new one.
