The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a second time, and the vehicle was diagnosed with an HECU fuse failure. The contact was informed that the HECU fuse needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHSTA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 173,890.
