My airbag is separating from my dashboard, I feel it is very dangerous. Ford Motor Company not willing to do anything about it. When I buy another new vehicle I will remember the service I received.
I have enjoyed the car. The dash is annoying but more than that, I believe It may be a safety problem. The dash is pulling away from the passenger side dash air bag.
Contacted Ford Motor Corp. about my dash raising up about 2 inches by the air bag compartment. I would have to say that whatever glue was used must be defective after several years of heat and cold. They contacted the local dealership and I took my car by there for the service manager to look at and then he contacted Ford. Again got the same answer as the door handle, not willing to do anything because my car is out of warranty and has 55000 miles.
This is so disappointing. This was my first new car and I choose it because of the good reviews. Not only do I have to pay to get the interior door handle fixed, now I have to pay to have the dash fixed and the dealership can't even fix that, I have to take it to a interior upholstery guy. What a joke. Never a Ford again.
