2008 Ford Fusion that the transmission solenoid has gone out twice! Its dangerous because the car decides if it wants to start going or not when you push the gas pedal. Its not a cheap fix and there is no recalls! Mostly happy with the car except for this problem now. I cant afford to buy anew one and I need a reliable vehicle. Disappointed in Ford. I had a Ford Aerostar that had to have at lest 4 transmissions put in. Two under warranty and two not! Why haven't they improved their transmissions? They wont give you anything much on a trade in with this problem , then they will turn around and sell it for a few thousand.
