We are the owners of a 2008 Ford Fusion. We have had to have to belt, pulley, and bolt replaced about 4 times!! We have to replace it every 2 months because we keep breaking down in the car and its leaving us stranded on the side of the road. We have also went back with a stronger bolt, to see if this was the problem. No help there. Mechanic also replaced the tensioner hoping this would help. No help there!!! My mechanic is telling me there is nothing else he can do with it and is refusing to fix it again!!!!!!!!!!!!! After much research, I have discovered this is a common occurrence with these cars!!!! Why is there not a fix available and a recall issued. They only issue recalls on small stuff that is easy to fix!!!!!! I have contacted everyone I could think of to resolve this issue with this car, but NOTHING helps!! Does anyone know anything about this problem and how to fix???? Noone will help me. Not even the Ford company who built the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know its an old car, but still a good car if this can be fixed. I hate to have to get rid of it I would NEVER suggest this car to anyone!!!
