I took a chance on buying a Ford because the Fusion got good reviews on Car Talk. I disagree with their assessment. I can only assume that they were referring to the non all wheel drive model since mine was very disappointing as the PTU went at just over 100k miles and I had to get rid of the car as cost to fix was as much as value of the car. I will not buy another Ford. The PTU leak issue is a known design issue and there are many references to the issue on the web. I have owned 4 wheel drive/ AWD cars from Toyota, Subaru, Honda and have not had these kind of issues. I will not buy another Ford.
