Bought car from dealer and less than 100 miles of ownership they tell me the wobbling is due to driveshaft play. Needs to be replaced. This car has under 59000 miles and should not need to be replaced! Cost of $1025. I have a 3000/3 month powertrain they tacked on when I signed the paperwork. I am within 3 days of that expiring. Going Monday and making sure they honor it and fix it! I am reading a lot of unhappy owners having to replace this major part! This should be a recall!

Can't understand why whole driveshaft has to be replaced at a cost of $750.00 for a $25.00 splicer u joint? Ford makes an inferior driveshaft that is designed for them using mexican labor and a cheap way to assemble the driveshaft for maximum profit, and the heck with the consumer when he has to do the repair. Car is a 2008 ford fusion awd. Guess ford profits come ahead of the customer.
