I had just picked up my car from the dealership after nearly a month in the shop!! Paid the deductible for the first repair, then turned around and had to pay another deductible for the gearshift. Although I maintained that the first dealership had not finished the transmission replacement competently and caused the gearshift to break, therefore I shouldn't have to pay a second deductible. I was denied this claim by Ford customer service. I tried to drive the car to the nearest dealership, but the car wouldn't shift out of 2nd so the dealership sent out a tow truck. (I wasn't charged for the tow.) This time I took the car to another, closer dealership, and was only without the car for a week. But combined with the first repair, I was without my car for nearly 6 weeks!!!
