Requested again a solution for a now for unsafe vehicle on the road due to a recall. No such solution could be given.
Takata recall I am unable to be provided with any more information as to when or how the process of replacing the air bags is to proceed. I am the only owner and driver of the vehicle a 2007 Ford Fusion. The cars has just about 40,000 thousands miles on it. My concern is that the Ford company has no interest in replacing the air bags on a vehicle that is almost 10 years old!!!!! I drive this car daily and I have deep fears and concerns that I will have an accident that will invovle injuries from the defective air bags. I want a more truthful and more detailed answer from the Ford company insttead of they(who ever they are) are making parts.

Takata recall I received a letter from Ford in July 2016 stating that a defect in the passenger side air bag could cause death to the passenger in the event of an accident. It further stated that I would receive another letter when parts are available. Now, 8 months later, I have not received another letter, and the local dealer does not have the parts for the recall service and does not know when those parts will be available. Based on information on the Ford web site I determined that my car is high risk for serious air bag malfunction because of its age (10 years) temperature fluctuations, and humidity variations. In spite of this very dangerous condition, known by Ford Motor Company for a long time they have not performed the correction nor advised me when they will perform it.

I received an email about the air bag recall on passenger side. My car dash board on the passenger side is coming apart as if something exploded under the dashboard. I am not sure why it is coming up but I will need it checked out to make sure this is not an issue with the air bag. If these air bags are explosive I want this fixed on my car asap. I just notice that my dash board is coming up on the passenger side but I did not know what caused it. I need this looked at asap.

Takata recall it's been 6 months since I've been notified of the recall and still no further communication has followed. There has certainly been enough time passed for a solution to have been arranged. My daughter drives this car and I'm worried about her safety. Please take any action that you can to expidite a solution to this problem as soon as possible. Thanks.
