The manufacturer was contacted and could not provide an estimated date for when the contacts vehicle would receive the recall repair. The contact was not experiencing a failure. Takata recall. Received notice from Ford of recall March 2017 stating that dealer would contact me. Contacted dealer to update today and was told that dealer is not ordering the parts and that if you need replacement you have to go into dealer and order the part. Now 7 months since notice and nothing is done.
I have been attempting since 07/26/2016 to have my airbags replaced based on recall notice. I have remained in contact with my local Ford dealership. I have also spoken with Ford on 01/03/2017. I have been told multiple times there is no parts available. The only recourse I have been given is 'you need to sue Ford'.
Takata recall it has been over a year since I have purchased this vehicle and still have not received notification that a remedy for the recall is available.

Takata recall: Airbags I called larry H. miller super Ford salt lake city 1340 South 500 West, salt lake city (801) 488-1700 and they told me they never received the parts to fix the car. Never have heard anything since. Sometime in July or August I called.
I received a notice of recall for the air bags in June 2016 at that time I was told by North central Ford in richardson Texas that I would receive a letter when they had the parts. Over a year later they still do not have the parts. I called today after receiving a letter stating I had to have the repairs made by the end of this year and that takata has filed bankruptcy. I was told agin the exact same thing that they don't have the parts and I will receive a letter when they do.

I received a notice last fall, I have called the dealership to have airbags replaced many times but am told they do not have available parts and do not know when my airbags will be replaced. The passenger side airbag location is pulling up from my dash.
"takata recall" it is now going on two years since I received word of the Ford Fusion recall for airbag inflators. I just heard that takata has filed for bankruptcy, chapter 11. What are we supposed to do?

Air bag warning light keep showing. I tried to contact nearest dealer but they said no part to replace airbag. I wait a year to fix this issue. This is safety concern, do something.
