This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
This morning, when the temperature was about 5 degrees, the turn signals failed to work for a right turn, then for a left turn. Whenever the temperature is near or below zero, the turn signals fail to work. It is sometimes possible to get them to work by pushing and holding the level, but not even that works at about -10 degrees or colder. The dealer refused to look at it, they just say, "can not duplicate." This is about the fourth time this winter that I have had difficulty getting them to work. The lack of a signal for a lane change and the distraction of trying to get it to work could lead to a collision.
