Takata recall about three weeks ago, I got an mail saying that the part was available. I called my Ford local dealership (jackson, tn, 38301). My car was put on a waiting list and I was told that the dealership has no idea when the part will be available. Three weeks later, I called the dealership again but I was told again that they have no idea about when the part is available. I do not understand what is going on here. When Ford, the manufacture, said that the part is available, can't the dealership just order the part for customers. It is outrages that I received my first recall notice back in 2014, but I still have not get it fixed almost in 2019. It is supper inconvenient since we can't use this car to ride the whole family, but sometimes, I have to when my second car is broken.

I have been advised by Ford that my vehicle has a recall on the the takata airbag inflator, and Ford has replaced the inflator. However, your recall "tool" does not show any recalls for my make, model, and year. This does not lend credibility to your software.
There is a recall on airbags and every time I call my Ford dealership they tell me they don't have the part to do the recall repair. Also recently my door handle had broke leaving it unable to lock. I work at a bar so I leave late hours I was very scared by a gentleman hanging around so I got in my car to lock the doors only to break my handle and find out this happens a lot and when the mechanism breaks the locks no longer work.
Takata recall I have been unable to receive a replacement component for the affected vehicle and have been attempting to do so from my local Ford dealer since 2016. They said they have never gotten any parts in that could apply to my vehicle due to the shortages and problems from this recall. The site said to notify someone via phone or online complaint if the recall could not be satisfied in a timely manner, hence why I completed this form.
The airbag inflator has been recalled for more than 1 year and no parts are available to complete the recall. Also, there's a settlement suit I cannot file to be included with since the recall hasn't been completed.
Takata recall in March 2019 it will be 3 years that I have been waiting for a replacement airbag. I recently made an inquiry to a Ford dealer because it is past the time that a replacement supposedly was to be available. They say they have ordered the part. No one at the repair facility or at the Ford customer service center is able to give me any answers as to when the part will be available. Of course they have no usa based C/S. the last letter I received stated that parts should be available in the second or third quarter of 2018. It is now the end of the fourth quarter and I had heard nothing. The reality is that I will likely never get a replacement, and I have no choice but to deal with a never ending run-around. In their current class action suit they are denying us a right to sue (should we be injured) by not providing the information in a timely manner (because they require a written opt-out postmarked by a specific date), yet they have been stringing us along for years but give us a couple of weeks to opt out in wring.
Tamara recall my frustration is I want to sell my car, but do not want to sell with a recall issue. I've contacted Ford twice. Ford assured me they would have an airbag for me at hilyear Ford in woodburn Oregon by the end of October. I called early November to essentially be told tough luck, we'll let you know. I had called two dealerships, pasco Washington and woodburn Oregon. We've recently moved to woodburn. No help. Basically I feel like I'm stuck with a car that I can't sell. (we have three cars, cutting to two after retirement). The original recall notice was sent in may, but there appears to be no effort by Ford to actually resolve. I just wish they could give a date they can actually compete the repair so we can plan. If I'd known this last may, I would have just dropped the insurance and parked my car. Any help will be appreciated!

Takata recall, dealer has not addressed the recall issue. It's been over 3 months, they stated Ford is back up with orders. My air bag is starting to stick out I'm afraid it light deploy.
Takata recall - we were told 2.5 years ago that we couldn't use the front seat and that they would remedy it. Last spring we received a notice that they would fix it this fall but we've still heard nothing. Is there any news at all about when they'll finally have replacement parts? thanks for any help on this!
Passenger frontal airbag inflator may resultin metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serial injury or death. I'm nervous to drive this car. I got the notification since 2016, I have call several times asking for the replasment for the airbag. And still waiting for the part per the customer service from Ford.
