The contact owns a 2006 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the vehicle stability control was defective and failed while driving approximately 40 mph in the snow. It was impossible for him to keep the vehicle from sliding and he could not feel any traction. He further stated that the tires were not the cause of the failure because they are in good condition with very low mileage. The contact believes that the failure was due to a defect with the stability control. The manufacturer is aware of the failure. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer.
