I am the second owner on this car having owned it for one year and am still paying for it. Thinking if I buy this new a car I'll only have very little problems with it. At 76 years old this will be the last car I buy. Miles were 32,000 on it. In Jan driving it home from work at 10:30pm in a bad snow storm it refused to go up the hill I live on, then the engine would act like it was losing

power pushing on the. gas just reved the motor but nothing else.

The next day when I went to go to work I noticed part of the instrument gauges weren't working. Limped to work and home, called the garage the next morning and took it in for the problem. They discovered that it was an electrical problem and the rear differential module had shorted out so no traction control either. It seems this is a problem with the Freestyle since 2004 when I researched it. Next step was to call Ford Co. to no avail. They knew nothing about this they said. So I was stuck with a $2046 repair bill. I will say I was treated very very nicely at the garage where it was repaired in Warren,Pa. I have driven Fords for about 25 years but feel I got brushed off from the Ford Co!!!
