As mentioned, this problem of going in reverse started minimally and has gotten extremely worse. Today at grocery store bumped and accelerated 2x in one reverse, Scary!! What if someone right behind me? This car is my sole means of transportation for job and family. It needs to be safe. Ford needs to address just like gov't made toyota address - before it's too late! My last three cars were Fords and my last Taurus had 118k miles. I'm seriously questioning getting another Ford again.
