Car stored outside below freezing temperatures. The driver door would become unlatched independently or would not latch at all (obviously unsafe). Brought it to local dealer and was told that, since it was not a Ford recall, that they could not fix the problem and, once warm, the problem count not be reproduced. Vehicle was not repaired and was told that since it was not a Ford recall, that they could not fix the problem.
This appears to be related to NHTSA: Campaign 06V383000 (latches/locks/linkages).
