When we had 2 new front tires put on the front of our van we were told when my wife picked it up that there was a whining in the front end of the van. We were told that it could be something going bad such as a hub bearing. So my wife took it to the Ford dealership and had a mech. test drive it to see if that is what he thought. And sure enough he said he thought it was the front left hub. So I called a couple days later and asked if there was a recall on it because I thought that with only 41000 miles on the van that it shouldn't be going bad already. The only thing he asked was did I buy the extended warranty, I told him "No it doesn't have that many miles on it" and then he told me that i would have to pay for it the warranty had expired at 36000 miles which I already knew. I was not satisfied with his answer so I got a phone number to customer service in Kansas City and after the lady that I talked to said that there was not a recall on it and the only thing that they could do is give me a low interest loan but I would first have to talk to my local ford dealership and that they could get me the best deal. So I'm going to get it fixed when I can afford it then it will probably be traded off.
