Last Summer, in July of 2010, while on an out of state road trip, the A/C went out in the van. I had hundreds of miles to drive in temps over 100 degrees. It was horrible. The whole A/C unit was shot and it cost over $2500.00 to replace. Now in September 2011, my transmission needs to be replaced. Two major repairs on a 2005 van, is crazy. This van would have very low mileage if it were not for Hurricane Katrina. I bought it in 2005 right before the hurricane and it was used for the evacuation. For six months afterwards it was driven thousands of miles back and forth from Shreveport to New Orleans and Nashville while we handled issues in Louisiana and made plans to relocate to Tennessee. Since Spring of 2006, it is only driven about 7,800 miles a year and has been well maintained. This is unacceptable.
