Bought a 2015 Ford Focus Electric. Ford claims 90+ miles on a change. Obviously mileage varies based on breaking style, highway use, and driving conditions.
Over the last three years, regardless of weather conditions or driving style each morning after charging fully my battery reads 58 to 68 miles. Never 70, 80, 90, 100+. I honestly believe Ford's claim on millage is false for any kind of regular driving mixed freeway and city use. Yes, one could coast down a hill for an hour and generate the battery, but under normal driving conditions - over 3+ years, I end up with 58 - 68 miles (and 68 is rare).
I do like the car. But I believe this is false advertising on Fords part. If you think you can go 80 to 90 miles anywhere in this car, it would be false. Buyer beware, you won't get close to the claimed mileage.
