Some 2012-2018 Focus BEV vehicles may exhibit DTC U0130 in the battery electric control module (BECM) after replacement of the high voltage (HV) battery pack. In order to correct the condition, perform a programmable module installation (PMI) using the appropriate Ford scan tool. This action will initiate a coordinated flash of powertrain control module (PCM) and transmission control module (TCM) for HV battery compatibility.
